Sparty Mascot Program

Sparty is one active guy! He’s always on the go doing crazy things at weddings, parties and sporting events. However he needs an extra set of hands and eyes wherever he goes to keep him out of trouble. This is where the secret service comes in. Members of Sparty Mascot Program are current MSU students who go to every event Sparty attends. They help him drive places across campus and get to hang out with him during the event; they act as the link between Sparty and his surroundings.   There are only three requirements that all Mascot Program members must fulfill.  First they must be a full time student at MSU, second they must be a member of the Student Alumni Foundation.  (This requirement is already taken care of if the student is a member of Corner Blitz, the Izzone, or Slapshots.  If not there is a $15 membership fee).  And the last and most important requirement is that they must be a Spartan fan through and through.  If you met these requirements we encourage you to come join the Secret Service.  Members of this volunteer task force attend bi-weekly briefings on Sparty’s schedule.   If you chose to apply, you will be placed on Sparty Mascot Program email list, and will be notified before the next briefing session.
