Sparty Tryouts
Sparty tryouts are coming up soon and applications are due Friday, September 14, 2007.
Requirements for the position to portray Sparty:
- Must be full time MSU student
- Must be between 5'10" and 6'2"
- Must be in good health
- NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Download an application here or pick one up in the Student Alumni Foundation office at 333 Union Bldg.
The application consists of basic information, some short questions, an essay, and proof of health insurance and good health. Exact details on the information needed are available in the application. When obtaining a proof of good health, a free sports physical may be obtained at Olin Health Center as one of your three free visits by calling 517-353-4660 for an appointment.
This year there will be several weeknight commitments in the try-out process. There will be an orientation to the Sparty Mascot Program on the 20th of September, a try-on the 24th, a tryout on the 25th, and an interview night on the 26th.
Remember, NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY and applications are due Friday, September 14, 2007 by 5pm in the Student Alumni Foundation office, 333 Union Bldg.
